Faculty

The 2010 Summer Research Academy is currently looking for faculty participants to:

  1. Facilitate a workshop or seminar
  2. SRA is open to new workshop ideas that will motivate and educate aspiring student researchers. These include topics on the nature of university research, what research is, how research can positively affect undergraduate education, etc. Please contact the Office of Undergraduate Research for more information ( our@mail.ucf.edu ).

  3. Host a site visit
  4. During the morning and afternoon of Friday, June 25, the SRA participants have the opportunity to visit labs and research/creative sites of faculty. Participants tour areas specific to their major (i.e. sciences, humanities).

  5. Participate in the Showcase
  6. Late in the afternoon on Friday, June 25, SRA hosts the Showcase where faculty, graduate students, and undergraduates present posters on their research. This is a great opportunity for SRA participants to get a taste of all the opportunities available for students to conduct research.
